I always seem to meet Alex and Kara in thunderstorms, and leave them in big bursts of sunlight. Their engagement session and wedding parted the storm clouds as if the weather could change its mind for these two. With pitch black rain, to blinding light this almost felt like two weddings. The ceremony was rained out at the last minute, bringing everyone inside, but we recreated the first kiss outside in their original ceremony location. The classic vibes of this wedding made it feel timeless. A backdrop of rich summer greens, and the ancient reds of the hand carved wood engravings that seemed to cover every inch of their beautiful venue. A true moment in time. —m
